Sioux Empire Kennel Club / Sanchez Virtual Library
As a member of the SEKC, you have access to a remarkable library of canine knowledge - made up
of hundreds of books, videos, and DVDs. Our individual members have created a VIRTUAL library
where all the volumes are retained by their owners, but can be borrowed by any other member. This
website lists the books, videos and DVDs for your selection. Simply call the owner, arrange the
book exchange, agree on a return date and voila, you will have another chance to read and outwit
that clever pup of yours!
History and Library Name:
When two of our members, Gon and Loey Sanchez, moved from Sioux Falls, they had an extensive library
that they gave to another member. Wanting to share those books and videos, the idea was born to make
a virtual list of the items. Other members would add to that list and it would be available to club members.
Each member would keep their own books and loan them personally to members who they know and trust.
There would be no security issues. So the Sioux Empire Kennel Club (our members) / Sanchez
(to honor two dedicated past members) VIRTUAL Library came to be.
"COMMANDS"
- Review the book list and select the item you would like to read / view
- There will be a library code by the book.
- Cross reference that number with your membership list and that will direct you to the member that
owns the book
- Call or EMAIL the lending member and arrange to pick up the item
- Determine between the lender and the borrower when and where the item should be returned
- Lenders will be responsible for tracking the books they have loaned
